The modular design allows for easy touch-ups and adjustments, with panels that can be removed and replaced as needed. When it's time to move, the set effortlessly transforms into a flat-packable box, minimising environmental impact and maximising efficiency.
The houses, painted in a seafoam style reminiscent of waves crashing against the cliffs, serve as poignant reminders of the town's precarious existence. Each structure is infused with character and charm, capturing the essence of seaside living against the backdrop of impending change.
At the heart of the set lies the main house, featuring tracing paper and a cleverly integrated light system. When illuminated, the windows appear to glow from within, creating an illusion of warmth and activity where the characters gather to confront their uncertain future.

The set design not only embodies sustainability principles but also meets the logistical challenge of being flat-packable and transportable across the UK.
Constructed primarily from heavy-duty cardboard, the set mimics the rugged cliffs facing the relentless assault of the sea. Layers of cardboard are intricately layered to create a textured cliff-like surface, evoking the raw beauty of the coastal landscape. Recyclable paper and temporally attached fabrics are artfully employed to simulate the ebb and flow of moss and waves, adding depth and movement to the scene.
